The Center for Urban Agriculture, Asheville (CUAA) strives to be a liason for the environment to society, in a rapidly changing world, to better suit the needs of the environment and society through harmonious innovative sciences.
 
We are a nonprofit that serves as a national paradigm, using world-class standards, by providing community awareness and outreach, educational programming, agrotourism, agroforestry, permaculture, reforestation, and "other newly innovative sciences".
 
It is our core value to "Protect, Preserve, & Permeate" the environment while maintaining its natural integrity and beauty - As Mother Nature intended it to be.

We serve first and foremost the environment, then society and its surrounding communities and counterparts. CUAA ensures the logevity of a healthier tomorrow while educating America's public and serving local communities and their ever changing needs in an ever changing world.
 
It is our primary mission to protect and improve the natural environment for present and future generations, taking into account the environmental, social and economic principles of sustainable development.
